About Us:

Stable is a dynamic and rapidly growing fintech company. We're VC-backed and have raised over $100 million in capital. We specialise in innovative solutions to help clients manage volatile supply chains and raw material costs, one of the biggest challenges for businesses around the world.

Based in the vibrant tech hub of Clerkenwell, London, we are expanding our Growth team and are now looking for ambitious, confident individuals to join our journey and build an exciting career.

Role Overview:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Stable, you will be at the forefront of our expansion in the US market. You will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by working on engaging with potential US-based clients that have been identified by our AI powered tool as a good fit for our solution. You will then set the stage for successful sales engagements by our Account Executives in the US. Being a key part of a smaller, diverse company will give you exposure to other roles and expertise that will help you shape your future career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage and qualify new business opportunities within the US market.
  • Engage with prospective clients through various channels (email, phone, social media) to generate interest and book meetings for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and activities in our CRM system (Gong/Salesforce)
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and Stable’s product offerings.

10 things we look for:

1. High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Ability to understand and manage your own emotions and recognise and influence the emotions of others.

2. Resilience and Persistence: Persistence in the face of rejection and challenges is crucial.

3. Strong Communication Skills: Clear and persuasive communication, both verbal and written, is essential for engaging potential clients and conveying the value proposition effectively.

4. Active Listening: Ability to listen actively and understand the needs and concerns of potential clients helps in tailoring the sales pitch and fostering trust.

5. Goal-Oriented and Self-Motivated: A strong drive to achieve and exceed targets, coupled with self-motivation

6. Curiosity: A natural curiosity about the industry, products, and clients’ businesses

7. Organisational Skills: Efficiently managing time and tasks ensures that SDRs can juggle many plates!

8. Coachability: Ability to engage with feedback to refine your approach and improve performance over time.

9. Adaptability: Being adaptable to changes in the market, products, and sales strategies is vital in a dynamic sales environment.

10. Confidence and Positivity: Confidence in your abilities and maintaining a positive attitude can significantly impact your interactions with potential clients.

Degree level or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential. We're much more interested in you as an individual and your personality.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Starting Base Salary: £40,000 rising to £50k after 3 months of probation
  • Further progression points at +12 months
  • Performance-based incentives reward both results and consistency
