As we continue to grow, we are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Sr. Community & Events Manager to elevate our community engagement and event experiences.

Position Overview

The Sr. Community & Events Manager will play a key role in building and fostering a strong, engaged community around Prezent while also leading the strategy and execution of industry events and customer engagement initiatives. This person will develop and implement community engagement programs, manage high-impact events (both virtual and in-person), and drive customer advocacy efforts. They will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure events and community programs align with Prezent’s broader business objectives and brand positioning.

This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at relationship-building, has a passion for creating memorable event experiences and vibrant communities, and most importantly is someone who is highly organized and detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Advocacy

  • Develop and execute a community engagement strategy that strengthens relationships with customers, prospects, and industry leaders within the Biopharma and Technology sectors (will expand to more industries in future).
  • Manage strategic customer advocacy program, identifying power users and industry influencers who can amplify Prezent’s presence.
  • Foster meaningful discussions, engagement, and knowledge-sharing through online forums, social media groups, and exclusive community events.
  • Collaborate with content and product marketing teams to deliver valuable, community-driven content such as thought leadership pieces, podcasts and case studies.

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Plan and execute key industry events, annual Prezent-sponsored events, and customer roundtables, ensuring they drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Develop end-to-end event plans, including strategy, logistics, speaker coordination (as applies), attendee engagement, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage and coordinate internal stakeholders who will be attending events to ensure they are properly trained to get the most out of events.
  • Track and report on event performance metrics, optimizing future events based on insights and attendee feedback.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to identify top customers and partners for participation in community programs and events.
  • Create unique, high-touch experiences for executive-level customers and industry leaders, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Support the development of VIP networking opportunities, executive briefings, and strategic advisory boards.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Thought Leadership

  • Partner with content marketing and demand generation teams to create event-related promotional materials and post-event content.
  • Work with product marketing to align community initiatives and events with product launches and company milestones.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new opportunities for community engagement and event innovation.

Key Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in community management, events, or field marketing within a B2B SaaS or enterprise tech company.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful in-person and virtual events that drive engagement and business results.
  • Strong experience in building and managing communities, customer advocacy programs, or influencer networks.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging C-level executives and industry leaders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking event and community engagement KPIs to measure success.
  • Willingness to travel for industry events and customer engagements as needed.
  • Preference for someone who has sold to or worked within the BioPharma or Technology space
