Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This critical role involves managing the financial and regulatory reporting processes for our corporate and financing entities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial management, with Big 4 experience and CPA certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounting operations of the corporate entity, including control systems, transaction-processing operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for corporate.
  • Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for the entire entity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure robust internal controls are in place and operating effectively across the organization.
  • Provide leadership and support to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Lead and support the implementation of new accounting standards and financial systems.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits and reviews.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a corporate accounting environment.
  • Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Compensation:

  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $150k+ (Actual salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Compensation package also includes generous, bonus, benefits and equity.
