A bit about Wonderbly

Wonderbly is the world’s leading personalised book publishing company. Over the past ten years we’ve sold 10 million books to customers in almost every country in the world and we’re just getting started.

We’re an independent company of 65+ multi disciplinary people based in Bloomsbury, London. We have big company ambitions with small company vibes.

Life as Wonderbly’s Junior Content Executive

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and detail-oriented person to join our Product team as a Junior Content Operations Executive with the primary focus on launching our ambitious roadmap of new products, and to look after the content we publish across our international website supporting over thirteen locales.

Day-to-day, your role will be to work across numerous teams from design to producers to prepare and publish content through our Content Management System (CMS). Reporting into our Content Manager, you'll be the go-to person for launching products to our English markets and localising products to launch in our international markets. You’ll also lend a hand to the wider Product team with supporting rollouts and other ecommerce and customer experience led initiatives.

Initially you’ll be given clear tasks but with time you’ll own the whole end to end content publishing process and find ways to improve our workflow and the quality of what we publish.

This role would be a great starting point for someone looking to build a career in product, marketing, or ecommerce.

A bit about the role

  • Responsible for launching books across our ten international main markets

  • Supporting quality assurance and testing new personalisation features with our complex UX flows, you’ll be responsible for the entire book journey content from product page through to purchase

  • Being knowledgeable in all things book related site content: when a new product is launched, you will be responsible for how the book is presented on the website. You’ll know what should or shouldn’t be live, what content features are suitable for use and in general be a guardian of the site’s content relating to our catalogue

  • You’ll be one of the sole ‘gatekeepers’ of content on our website - knowing how to resolve errors, knowing how certain pages should look, and knowing how to best maintain the quality of the brand using existing content partials

  • Documenting new or updated features relating to the CMS and the website, keeping our how-to guides up to date with the latest information for wider teams.

  • Supporting the rollout of new features and content strategies across all markets

  • Supporting A/B testing and building variants if needed

  • Finding ways to improve our processes and workflow and the quality of what we publish

A bit about you

  • A good understanding of all things digital. You’ll spend a lot of time working with our content management system (we use Prismic) so showing a basic understanding of how software systems work is essential

  • You’ll be a capable multitasker as you’ll be working on multiple product launches at the same time across different locales

  • Accuracy and being detail-oriented are important for this role as you’ll be working with a lot of different content deliverables in multiple languages

  • You’ll be comfortable managing your own time, able to effectively prioritise work, and love to solve problems

  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you’ll be working with numerous teams at a time

  • Good working knowledge of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • Good numeracy and analytical skills would be useful as we analyse and report on customer interactions

First and foremost you should join Wonderbly because of the work. We’re on a mission to inspire boundless self belief in every child, everywhere through our beautiful personalised books.
