Around 5 year’s experience in Design, develop and implement database systems based on customer requirements
Solid understanding of MySQL Database, knowledge of MongoDB/Snowflake is a plus
Able to write Complex SQL queries, PL/SQL Coding like Cursors, Packages, Stored procedures and Functions
Ensure Database optimization, integrity, consistency, security and privacy
Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency
Develop best practices for database design and development activities
Ability to create SQL reports
Write and deploy SQL patches
Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
Design logical and physical data models
Collate, prepare and present statistical information for both internal and external use
Good Experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading from any Data Sources using Open Source Tool is a plus
Expertise in Database Front End Tools like SQL Developer,MySQL Workbench
Expertise in Schema design for Microservices
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau and Power BI)
Domain Knowledge on POS/E-commerce
Ability to work with a team in an Agile environment - Address bugs with QA, plan schemas with engineering, and respond quickly to other business needs
Providing support, guidance and collaborating with Application Developers to implement database design, and review developer’s work to ensure correct implementation
Continually evaluate software components and tools for software applications, making recommendations for system improvements as required
