As a React Native Engineer on our Applications initiatives, you will contribute to a critical and strategic area for Thrive. You will be instrumental in both developing new features and maintaining our existing iOS and Android applications.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely to ensure that our mobile applications align with the strategic needs of Thrive. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in upskilling your fellow team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance our collective expertise in mobile development.

How You'll Contribute:

• Partner with team leadership, product, design, and data peers to build user-facing mobile experiences

• Integrating micro-frontends developed using single-spa with TypeScript, React and GraphQL with our React Native mobile applications

• Work with Expo, EAS and the React Native CLI for a smooth development process

• Execute thorough manual testing on both Android and iOS platforms to ensure application stability and usability

• Help improve the way your team works, and be an active participant in on-call & supporting the teams products

• Take part in peer reviews, collaborative design sessions, production issue troubleshooting, business requirement gathering and other organizational processes.

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of React Native experience

• Strong expertise in building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Typescript, GraphQL experience a bonus

• Knowledge of native iOS and Android development is crucial for troubleshooting and enhancing platform-specific experiences.

• Experience shipping high-quality products from start to finish

• Ability to work well in a team setting, communicate effectively with other team members, and provide mentorship.

• A desire to work closely with developers who depend on your libraries to deliver value to our users

• An appreciation for the importance of good documentation – internal and external

• Attention to detail, especially around performance, accessibility, reliability, and security

Compensation for this role depends on level, and will likely fall in the $122,000-209,000 range. We provide a competitive mix of salary, performance bonus, and equity
