Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven executive to build and manage our outbound SDR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hiring, training, and coaching SDRs, with a proven track record of driving performance and reporting go-to-market (GTM) stats to senior leaders. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of our sales strategies and achieving our growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development:

• Hire, train, and manage a high-performing SDR team.

• Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new hires are set up for success.

• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to SDRs to enhance their skills and performance.

Performance Management:

• Set and monitor SDR performance metrics and KPIs. (SalesForce/Gong and GrowBlocks)

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed targets.

Sales Process Optimization:

• Refine and optimize the SDR process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Implement best practices for lead generation, qualification, and nurturing.

• Ensure the team is utilizing CRM and sales tools effectively.

GTM Strategy & Reporting:

• Collaborate with the wider Growth team to align SDR activities with GTM strategies.

• Analyze and report on key GTM metrics to senior leadership.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads

• Partner with account executives to ensure smooth handoff and follow-up on leads.

• Collaborate with product and customer success teams to gather feedback and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in sales development, with at least 2 years in a management role.

• Proven track record of hiring, training, and coaching successful SDR teams.

• Experience at a VC backed, B2B sales organisation is essential

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.

• Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Gong etc).

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
