Lead Software Engineer

- Design, architect, and implement backend systems and tools that enable top-tier mobile games to run at scale
- Collaborate directly with game teams to integrate new features and systems using technologies such as Java, C#, and Node.js
- Drive technical excellence by being a champion of best practices in development, architecture, and infrastructure for distributed systems
- Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performance across live operations
- Own delivery end-to-end: from design to deployment, ensuring technical quality and long-term maintainability
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to define goals and execution strategies
- Stay close to the business context by developing a deep understanding of the games your systems support and shape decisions that balance technical and product needs
- Mentor and guide a small group of engineers on technical topics and problem-solving approaches, fostering growth and learning
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and system design
- Hands-on experience in Java, C#, or another OO language, including strong knowledge of asynchronous and multi-threaded programming
- Proven experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or similar) and large-scale distributed systems
- Proven success in delivering large-scale, production-ready systems that are reliable, maintainable, and drive measurable impact for live products or platforms
- Strong English language skills are required for this role, as we have a highly diverse and global business
