Scopely is looking for a Workplace and Experience guru to join our People Team leading operations and employee experience in Barcelona, working 5 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for events and facilities management, vendor partnerships, budget control, workplace programs, and the monthly event calendar, all focused on creating an outstanding employee experience in a hybrid environment.

You will report to Spain Senior Manager for Workplace and Experience, being part of a hands-on and action-oriented team, committed to ensuring things get done while maintaining a calm and positive spirit, capable of balancing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. Someone who enjoys being present in the office, listening actively, and valuing feedback as a way to continuously improve the workplace experience they are shaping. Above all, we are looking for someone that thrives on community, loves working with people and for people, and acts as a true cultural ambassador who champions innovation, teamwork, and an exceptional employee experience.

  • Be part of a busy, hands-on team managing an 8,000 sq. mt. office environment
  • Be a strong communicator and collaborator, who works seamlessly with other teams and in alignment with leadership to anticipate needs and deliver results that support both employees and the business
  • Brings creativity and solution, with the ability to understand both business and employee needs while fostering meaningful connections across the workplace
  • Plan and deliver amazing events and experiences for 500+ employees while juggling the daily needs of a vibrant workplace
  • Manage food services for employees, including daily snacks, breakfast, lunch, and catering for special events
  • Oversee and partner with vendors to identify the best options for workplace experience and provide solutions that strengthen employee engagement
  • Collaborate with Accounts and Procurement to align payment terms and manage any legal agreements, and work closely with vendors to ensure timely payments
  • Lead budgets and workplace experience initiatives, including onboarding and hybrid programs
  • Support employee experience on new office openings, game launches and milestones celebrations, DEI initiatives, and more
  • Be a great communicator and an even better collaborator, working closely with your own team and across different departments to deliver exceptional results
  • Ensure compliance with certain H&S procedures, security standards, and support cross-functional teams globally
  • Overseen building maintenance and communicate with maintenance vendors effectively to provide fast resolutions
  • Support leadership events and manage offsite / onsite weeks upon request
  • Support in supervising cleaning and janitorial team, ensuring high-quality standards and fast response to issues
  • Manage Facilities Jira tickets with employees requests
  • Able to deliver multiple projects simultaneously (events, facilities upgrades, office improvements)
  • Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable navigating constant change in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience in Facilities & Event Management within global corporate or large hospitality organization
  • Proven success managing budgets and cost savings, managing facilities/admin projects
  • Customer Centric orientation
  • Comfortable working with apps and technology to resolve issues and improve employee experience
  • Happy to work from the office
  • English and Spanish mandatory / Catalan as a nice to have
