Senior Game Designer role - Monopoly GO!

Scopely is looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our Monopoly GO game!. This is an on-site role based in Barcelona, Spain on a hybrid basis.
On this role you will be focusing on the design, configuration, and delivery of live mini-game content. You will be instrumental in shaping the player experience across multiple game modes, ensuring a seamless and engaging flow of live content enjoyed by millions of players around the world. This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration with product managers, producers, content, analytics, and engineering. Your work will directly impact the quality, creativity, and effectiveness of our live content pipeline.

What You'll Do
- Contribute to the Live Design all Monopoly GO! live operated minigames
- Create, finalize, and maintain designer configs for each minigame
- Stage and manage playtest environments, track results, and iterate based on data and feedback
- Review event theme art ideation in close collaboration with the Content team across all minigames
- Develop and maintain GDDs for both live improvements and new feature mechanics
- Analyze performance and player feedback for each minigame to identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to creation and playtest tracking for our mini games
- Work with Feature Owners to define implementation details for new and updated features
- Represent Design throughout cross-functional development cycles, ensuring alignment and quality delivery
- Contribute to the ideation and documentation of new minigame mechanics and experiences
- Stay aligned with the minigame calendar and ensure timely, high-quality execution of all design deliverables
What We're Looking For
- Great attention to detail in designing features, levels, and systems
- Excellent documentation skills, especially Game Design Documents, and comfort working with configuration tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and content teams to meet shared goals
- Passion for iterative design, driven by player feedback, data, and testing
- Strong understanding of F2P game loops, monetization systems, and player motivations
- Experience with feature scheduling and scoping in collaboration with production and PM
- Multiple years of experience in game design, ideally with live operations, mobile games, or systems design
