Scopely is looking for a Senior Technical Producer to join our Monopoly GO! team in our Barcelona hub.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become Scopely’s largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

What You Will Do

You will be embedded in one of our Tech teams, as part of a cross functional development team consisting of multiple disciplines, to deliver a wide variety of updates and capabilities, taking them from concept to delivery. You will be working on exciting technically focused projects inside our teams whilst partnering with external vendors to create a massive impact on our players' gaming experience.

  • Be heavily involved in facilitating pre-production, production and post-release care within your team
  • Be part of the team's roadmap creation, facilitating the discussions and decisions that need to be made outside and inside the team to build an amazing experience for our players.
  • Be a close partner to the release management team to ensure a smooth experience delivery to our players
  • Create, maintain and communicate reports on roadmap status and the team’s needs to the wider studio
  • Establish and drive processes to improve efficiency & communication within the teams and with the rest of the studio
  • Facilitate all ceremonies that are deemed necessary for the benefit of the projects and the health of the team
  • Be a partner to the production team both inside the tech vertical group and the wider studio.
  • Work with the production team to ensure important documentation stays relevant and useful
  • Work alongside the team to break down large-scale projects into deliverables that are well understood inside the team and outside to the wider studio

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of Game Production experience (preferably Mobile)
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding from hands-on engineering or relevant experience
  • Driven individual with the ability to conduct & contribute to high level engineering focused discussions
  • Demonstrable ability to break down technical project requirements into iterative deliverables
  • Experience in Agile, Lean and Traditional methodologies to lead technically complex projects that are fast paced and critical to business
  • Proven track record of facilitating cross-team discussion, organization and planning
  • Outstanding communication skills; must be able to articulate sophisticated business and technical situations to a variety of audiences
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to keep teams motivated and engaged
  • Solid understanding of engineering standard practices and the full SDLC
  • Be a data-driven individual with an inclination to make decisions based on analysis
  • Are highly execution-focused, ensuring improvements move efficiently from idea to done
  • Have experience iterating on live changes and analyzing their impact, including proactively identifying issues and fixing problems before they escalate
  • You play Monopoly GO! And enjoy sharing the experience with the development team

  • Project experience with scalable platforms and resilient architectures
  • Experience in the gaming industry
  • Experience with mobile development
  • Experience with Atlassian (Confluence, Jira) and collaborative tools such as Miro
  • Practical exposure or hands-on expertise working with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Unity, Python, C# or any other programming language
