As a Senior People Business Partner for the Slate Division, you will act as a strategic partner to division and game leaders to ensure teams are supported, engaged, and performing at their best. This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach to solving business challenges through innovative people strategies. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams to influence decision-making, lead change initiatives, and support leaders in driving team effectiveness and performance day to day.
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded HR professional with experience across all core HR functions, including performance management, talent development, employee relations and organizational change. You should have a track record of partnering with senior leaders to implement people processes that drive efficiency and support business growth.
Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment while ensuring People initiatives are delivered effectively and in line with business needs.

What You'll Do:
- Strategic Talent Partnering: Partner with game leaders and the People Business Partner leadership team to design and execute clear, effective talent strategies for the Slate Division. Guide leadership on organizational design, team structures, leadership development, and workforce planning.
- Talent Management: Shape and implement Scopely’s global talent management strategies by addressing the specific needs, challenges, and culture of your teams. Provide practical, scalable solutions to drive team performance, development, and engagement.
- Leadership Development: Collaborate with game leaders to strengthen leadership practices, communication, and talent decision-making across the division. Drive programs that reinforce Scopely’s operating values and leadership expectations.
- Employee Relations: Partner with managers, employees, and (as needed) ER/ Legal to proactively resolve employee relations issues with fairness, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Change Management: Support teams in navigating change by connecting business strategies to organizational needs. Coach leaders on effective change communication, implementation, and follow-through.
- Collaboration and Influence: Partner closely with the broader People Business Partner team to ensure alignment and delivery of Scopely’s People strategy across geographies and cultures. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people-related matters.
What You’ll Bring
- Over six years of progressive People Business Partner experience in a high-growth, high-performance sector, primarily in the technology or gaming industry. Experience includes a strong focus on partnering with senior leaders.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic and operational people initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills, with experience driving performance and organizational development in fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in organizational design, talent management, change management, and leadership development.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-growth settings with competing priorities and evolving challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Global experience or mindset of working across cultures and regions, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Deep knowledge of employment laws and best practices, ensuring compliance and ethical people management.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off.
