Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with and leading internal and external business and technical teams to ensure smooth identification of post implementations/operational issues and collaborate across stakeholder to develop a unified solution.
  • Drives collaboration across Enterprise and communicates results; sets priorities to ensure adequate progress
  • Accountable for communication both internally and externally around the activity and the fulfillment of all requirements per the contract with partners and clients
  • Works on unique issues; exercises independent judgment in methods & techniques
  • Explains and clarifies to influence others; May have integrations with senior internal and external colleagues across Enterprise
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope of work
  • Provide status reports via defined Zelis application as well as customized reporting as requested
  • Proactively investigates and develops improvements for existing process or develops new process; identifies new areas of opportunity consistent with strategy
  • Contributes significantly to defining elements of project, program or objectives and lead; Creates and manages complex plans with greater complexity that have direct effect on business results
  • Develops solutions that require extensive analysis and investigation. Works on complex issues requiring in-depth analysis.
  • Independently works closely with internal PMO’s and Operations teams to ensure proper subject matter expertise is available to support business delivery process
  • Provide project management SME expertise to other PM’s and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Supplies project planning, documentation, and cross-functional relationship solutioning to other project managers
  • Can successfully maneuver through ambiguous situations and lead the team to an objective deliverable
  • ​ Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy
  • Domestic travel up to 25%

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years experience in Healthcare is preferred
  • Experience with road mapping is preferred
  • Expert Experience in Project Management and leading teams in a complex environment
  • Solid ability to create complex project plans, gather requirements and adhering to project plans/timelines
  • Expert Proficiency in partnering with multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously to identify solutions to complex issues
  • Expert organizational skills in working with multiple departments
  • Knowledge of core business products and services within the claim administrator, claim software space
