Position Overview

The Strategic Engagement Manager will be responsible for enabling strategic providers on payment optimization and driving account growth. This position will engage with providers to ensure optimized system set up and full system adoption which enables the providers to have high financial performance and consistent revenue cycle management processes.

This position will lead and collaborate with other departments to drive outstanding service and value to our strategic providers. The Strategic Engagement Manager will also serve as a trusted advisor to the provider sales team aiding in presenting proven value propositions and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships designed to foster retention, drive growth, and obtain client referrals

  • Demonstrate clear understanding of sales process and product/service value propositions and ROI

  • Analyze client accounts to identify opportunities expanded adoption of services and contract renewals

  • Collaborate with clients on tracking performance improvements and creating case studies

  • Acquire an understanding of client expectations, objectives, initiatives and opportunities for growth

  • Ensure client is aware of and fully utilizing the service features and alerting the client of new features and services

  • Understand Zelis’ key differentiators, product strategy, product features and functionality and their applicability to client’s implementation

  • Facilitate cross functional client support between divisions drive quality resolution for any EDI concerns

  • Document and share provider feedback to internal teams to influence product strategy and increase adoption

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ yeas of Account Management or Client Success experience

  • Healthcare or payments experience

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrated ability to retain, upsell and maximize existing service lines

  • Demonstrated ability to introduce new product lines to clients
