Zelis is seeking a UX Designer to design payment-related products that meet the needs of our users, largely focused on serving the healthcare provider and payer populations. You should be eager to learn and inform the business since your Figma designs will inspire everything from strategy discussions to actual development sprints. You will be able to leverage the Zelis design system, interfaces, and workflows in your quest to enhance the user experience. Candidates must be highly collaborative and a self-starter, able to independently manage work. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.
Design wireframes, screens and prototypes using Figma
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Apply the corporate design system & recommend/enhance new components
Analyze & apply user feedback
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., usability, findability)
Consult with clients to understand goals
Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers & business leaders
Manage & prioritize a queue of work projects
2+ years experience as a UX/UI Designer
Experience using Figma
Portfolio to be included with resume
Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture, including user stories, flow charts and journey maps
Proficiency applying web application design best practices
Background in project management and research
Analytical mind with a business acumen
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with Pendo, Jira and Confluence
