You will develop and drive an agile, data driven and fast-moving P2P process to support the business. You will interact regularly with internal stakeholders to drive optimization and to increase value throughout all stages of the P2P lifecycle. You will be responsible for leading a global team and driving to world class efficiency and effectiveness driven by KPIs.
It is expected that this role will be in the office regularly (not a remote role).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage global P2P Operations including management of financial transactions, monitoring and tracking of activities of work in progress to ensure timely creation and updates of purchase orders, and timely payment of invoices while ensuring the accuracy of information and compliance with policy and contractual obligations.
Develop and lead a global team driving to world class efficiency and efficiency with a KPI driven operation focused on cost and cash flow management.
Hands-on leadership and ability to drive full procurement lifecycle activities including indirect category planning, RFX processes, contract negotiations and vendor management.
Serve as first line among vendors, internal stakeholders, and business relationship owners to understand requirements, identify suitable vendors, lead the sourcing process, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best price, payment terms, service delivery and quality.
Deliver tangible and measurable cost savings to the company by utilizing key sourcing strategies.
Develop and lead agile RFX process in collaboration with internal stakeholders,; draft, initiate and manage end-to-end RFX. Serve as lead SME on RFX process developing instructions, strategies and guides to drive usage.
Lead reporting and development of analytical packages supporting KPIs
Serve as P2P Workday lead, reviewing/approving purchases orders, developing reporting, training users, collaborate with Workday Finance Admin and Governance SME to enhance Workday for the enterprise.
Regularly audit contracts for adherence to terms, SOWs and payment terms to optimize working capital.
Manage, coach and lead direct and indirect team of 5-6 associates.
Support teams by assisting with various cross departmental initiatives and projects.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience with indirect spend.
15+ closely related experience in a healthcare vendor management or strategic sourcing practice and track record managing.
Strong knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions and application to business
Deep understanding of the source-to-pay process and pragmatism to manage exceptions.
Experience in automated procurement and RFX systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP)
Demonstrated experience working with onshore and offshore teams.
Strong experience in Professional Services and IT Sourcing.
Experience in mid to larger size company with multinational P2P functions
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and planning skills.
Have a “hands on”, action-oriented approach, working in a fast-paced environment to solve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility and professionalism.
Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
Mature interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact with diverse audiences.
Strong analytical skills, with experience developing reporting on function status and areas for improvement.
Ability to be creative and develop out-of-the box solutions and to work with abstract concepts to develop strategies and opportunities.
Ability to analyze, evaluate and present complex results to varied audiences.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
