Business Operations Project Manager
Sapphire is seeking a dedicated Business Operations Project Manager to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across our business. This role requires exceptional project management skills, a passion for process improvement, and a collaborative approach to driving change.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in both project and program management and possess a strong understanding of business operations. They will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects, aligning resources, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of business objectives.
Manage and execute operations and continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects meet objectives, timelines, and budgetary targets.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, clearly outlining goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing for new operational initiatives.
Oversee all aspects of project management, including risk management, stakeholder communication, change management, and resource allocation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, fostering communication and ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and objectives.
Track and analyze project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Continuously evaluate existing business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging innovative ideas and approaches.
Facilitate meetings, decision-making processes, and initiatives related to process improvement and change management.
5+ years of experience in project or program management.
Demonstrated experience managing operations and continuous improvement projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
Proficiency with Jira preferred.
Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs, delivering outcomes on time and within budget.
Operational Excellence: A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, facilitating clear communication and ensuring alignment on project objectives.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision making and project direction.
Continuous Improvement: A passion for process improvement, with a track record of driving innovative operational changes.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
