The Client Experience (CX) Tier 1 Support role is critical to the success of the CX team. This role will handle the rapid-fire day-to-day system needs for a team of Technical Client Experience Managers (TCXM’s) and their clients. Every day will be different, but also offers the unique opportunity to learn about our clients, products and people. This role is also expected to serve as a talent pool for various other departments, so it can be a great place to kickstart your career with Zelis!

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • For a segment of Payer clients, develop a thorough understanding of technical systems, software and current processes
  • Respond quickly and effectively to requests from the TCXM’s for client service, updates on projects or tasks, general information or troubleshooting
  • Work with TCXM’s to implement system rule changes and updates for payer clients
  • Assist in review of inbound data and technical issue resolution
  • Maintain an internal network of key contacts to ensure proper communication, collaboration and alignment
  • “Close the loop” with appropriate stakeholders by providing appropriate communication related to completed tasks or resolved issues
  • Create a friendly and fun environment for peers and co-workers

Summary of Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with computer and applicable software packages, including Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic data skills including proficiency with text editors preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling high volume requests a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Environment:

  • Sitting at desk or meetings, or standing for long periods of time
  • Occasional travel required
  • Work long hours and flexible schedule when needed
  • Use standard office equipment
