Position Overview

Looking for a Lead HRBP as an Individual Contributor

Lead – Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Hyderabad, India
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Senior Manager, Human Resources

Position Summary

The Lead – HRBP serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving people strategies that support organizational objectives, talent growth, employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. This role partners closely with leadership teams across India and global stakeholders to deliver high-impact HR solutions that enable business success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and translate them into people strategies.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee and organizational matters.

Talent Management

  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and talent assessments.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies and workforce planning.
  • Identify high-potential talent and support development and succession initiatives.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Manage complex employee relations issues with fairness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and action planning based on feedback and survey results.

Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Support organizational transformations, restructures, and business change initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management programs to improve adoption and business outcomes.
  • Coach leaders on effective communication and change leadership practices.

HR Programs & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
  • Drive annual HR cycles including performance reviews, compensation planning, promotions, and talent reviews.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Talent, Learning, Talent Acquisition) to deliver HR programs.

Leadership Coaching

  • Coach and develop managers on performance management, employee development, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze workforce metrics including attrition, engagement, hiring, diversity, and performance trends.
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on people data.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA / Master's degree in HR or related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HRBP experience supporting technology, healthcare, or shared services organizations.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting global organizations and cross-functional teams.
