About The Role

Salsa is seeking a Partner Strategy Manager to take ownership of post-sales partner onboarding, ensuring they are set up for success in their first months with Salsa. This is a highly visible, strategic role where you will act as the primary interface between Salsa and our partners, ensuring a smooth, well-organized transition onto our platform. You must be an excellent communicator, structured thinker, and process builder.

You will lead partner onboarding, integration planning, and early-stage relationship management—setting the stage for long-term success and revenue growth. In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and customer experience, putting you front and center in one of the highest-impact areas in the company. This is an opportunity to build out and perfect a function this year and then scope the path to hire a team for it and potentially lead the function (based on your ability).

Key Responsibilities

Partner Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new partners during onboarding, ensuring they have a seamless and structured transition onto the Salsa platform.
  • Lead high-stakes meetings with partner executives and key stakeholders, clearly defining and articulating expectations, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Manage the onboarding process from contract signing through full adoption, ensuring partners stay on track and mitigating risks when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize onboarding and improve the partner experience, driving both revenue impact and customer satisfaction.

Process & Playbook Development

  • Build and refine Salsa’s onboarding methodology, creating structured processes, documentation, and scalable resources.
  • Develop guides, templates, presentations, and training materials that set future team members up for success.
  • Continuously iterate on best practices to ensure onboarding becomes more efficient, repeatable, and impactful over time.

Strategic Thinking & Execution

  • Exercise professional judgment to assess partner needs, determining which requests align with Salsa’s capabilities and priorities.
  • Set and enforce accountability with partners, ensuring timely execution of integration and go-live milestones.
  • Read the room and adjust messaging accordingly, knowing when to escalate issues and when to push back diplomatically.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years at a top-tier consulting firm or similar high-performance environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and drive alignment with executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong professional judgment; ability to navigate complex partner relationships, set expectations, and diplomatically manage requests.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring all processes and partner interactions are structured and efficient.
  • Ability to create new resources, presentations, and guides from scratch—without waiting for direction.
  • Experience building and documenting processes that can scale with company growth.
