Head of Demand Generation
As the Head of Demand Generation, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies to generate leads, accelerate the sales pipeline, and expand our customer base. You will lead initiatives across LinkedIn Social Selling, LinkedIn Ads, website trials, and account-based marketing campaigns. Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking lead progression will be integral to the role. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Inside Sales team to ensure seamless lead-to-opportunity conversion. This position reports directly to the CEO and offers significant career growth opportunities, equity, and a performance-based bonus structure.
1. Develop and execute demand generation strategies:
- Create and implement a data-driven demand generation plan aligned with our growth objectives.
- Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth through LinkedIn Social Selling, LinkedIn Ads, website trials, and account-based marketing campaigns.
- Utilize a multi-channel approach to maximize the impact of demand generation initiatives.
2. Lead LinkedIn Social Selling and LinkedIn Ads:
- Build and manage a team of social selling experts to leverage LinkedIn as a primary channel for lead generation and relationship building.
- Develop compelling content, engagement strategies, and relationship-building techniques to drive conversion.
- Plan and optimize LinkedIn Ads campaigns to effectively reach target audiences, drive traffic, and generate qualified leads.
3. Drive website trial conversions and account-based marketing campaigns:
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to optimize the website trial experience, ensuring a seamless user journey and maximum conversion rates.
- Develop and execute account-based marketing campaigns targeting Fortune 2000 companies to generate high-value leads.
- Leverage personalized messaging, content, and outreach strategies to engage key decision-makers within target accounts.
4. Track and report on performance:
- Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of demand generation efforts.
- Utilize marketing analytics and reporting tools to monitor lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with Inside Sales:
- Partner closely with the Inside Sales team to track lead progression, measure lead-to-opportunity conversion rates, and optimize sales funnel efficiency.
- Foster a collaborative working relationship to ensure alignment between marketing and sales goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in building and running demand generation programs for B2B SaaS startups, with a focus on Fortune 2000 companies.
- Strong expertise in LinkedIn Social Selling, LinkedIn Ads, website trials, and account-based marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Experience tracking KPIs, conducting lead attribution, and reporting on campaign performance.
