Role: Head of Product Marketing
The Head of Product Marketing will drive product marketing strategy, focusing on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans. In collaboration with the VP of Marketing, they will shape product positioning, contribute to category creation, and manage product launches, from quarterly updates to major releases. Responsibilities include leading vertical analysis, persona development, and market identification and competitive analysis. They will ensure consistent messaging across campaigns by aligning product, demand generation, and content teams. They will manage a global team, including sales enablement. This role balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-growing startup environment, with a focus on differentiation and scalability.
You will be working on:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a global team, currently consisting of one PMM based and one Sales enablement manager both based in India. Potential opportunity to build out the team as our revenue grows within the next few months.
- Product Strategy & Positioning: Define and drive the product marketing strategy, collaborating with the VP of Marketing and the broader marketing team to craft compelling product positioning, messaging, and category creation. Ensure alignment with both the biopharma and tech verticals, while preparing for expansion into future sectors, including BFSI (banking).
- Product Launches: Build and execute structured product launch plans, including quarterly release cycles and major releases like ASTRID in Q1 2025. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless and impactful product launches.
- Key Connector for the rest of the marketing org: Act as the bridge between product, demand generation, and content marketing. Provide the structure and support needed for these teams to thrive, ensuring all campaigns are backed by clear and effective product messaging.
- Competitive Positioning: Own competitive analysis and positioning, helping the team understand and communicate Prezent.ai’s unique value in the market. Stay on top of competition and evolutions of products, target audiences, market share, etc.
- Product-Led Growth (PLG): Partner with the VP of Product to design and launch a Product-Led Growth motion. This will be two motions - PLG for landing midmarket and enterprise business and PLG for Expanding existing accounts. Develop strategies to drive self-service expansion, user engagement, and upsell initiatives, leveraging a “land and expand” approach.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and the sales enablement manager to drive the sales enablement function to create compelling content, administer training and quizzes to test knowledge and retention.
We are looking for:
- Proven Product Marketing Experience: 10+ years in product marketing within B2B SaaS, ideally with experience in vertical markets of Biopharma and Technology.
- Strategic & Tactical Balance: Ability to toggle between strategic initiatives and tactical execution.
- Collaborative Leader: A true enabler who can partner across teams including Product, Sales, Demand Gen, and Content. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team through influence.
- PLG Expertise: Experience in launching and managing Product-Led Growth initiatives within SaaS, including hands-on experience in driving adoption through self-service models.
- Customer-Centric Storyteller: Ability to build strong customer narratives and success stories, creating content that resonates with both technical and business personas.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Deep understanding of the Total Addressable Market (TAM) for various sectors, using data and insights to inform product marketing strategies.
