What to expect
Ozow is looking for a Tech focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising through to closing hires. Your responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managers. If you have experience evaluating candidates for roles in tech, we’d love to meet you.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Your roles includes:
- Finding scarce skill candidates in the tech space along with other functional areas
- Talent Branding – collaborate with marketing on campaigns
- Collaborating with our hiring leads to create role profiles
- Collaborating with our hiring leads to help select the ideal candidate
- Network through various channels – being proactive is key
- Screen job applications
- Strong candidate engagement – screening, interviews and negotiation
- Track hiring metrics
- Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
- Host and participate in job fairs and other events on an ad hoc basis
- Look for ways to improve the process – think innovation and automation
Requirements
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- 2-4 years experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, tech recruitment preferred
- Enjoys building rapport and trust
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on multiple channels
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to engage with senior management and executives across the business
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail – while juggling so many tasks the focus must be candidate experience
