Ozow is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our team as we scale. You will keep track of a Ozow's income and any debts owed to the business. You will be a key member of our Finance Team, ensuring we run a world-class financial operation. We are looking for someone who is attentive to detail, thorough, and possesses a strong work ethic.
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Revenue Accountant, Debtors Administrator or similar role.
- A relevant tertiary degree.
- Hands on experience with accounting software (preference Xero)
- Strong attention to detail
- A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have worked in the FinTech industry (advantageous).
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Debtor management and collection
- Monthly statements
- Issue statements to debtors
- Issuing of any other supporting documents to debtors
- Track and report incoming revenue.
- Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage merchant accounts.
- Attend to merchant queries
- Audit support.
- Ad hoc analysis.

- This position is based in our Cape Town office.
