What to expect

As a Personal Assistant (PA) to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Ozow, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CPO in managing their day-to-day activities and ensuring efficient operation of the product department. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will act as a trusted partner to the CPO, providing administrative assistance, coordinating projects, and facilitating effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CPO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating and tracking projects within the product department, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Communication Management: Serve as a liaison between the CPO and internal/external stakeholders, managing incoming communication, screening emails, and drafting responses on behalf of the CPO.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Prepare agendas, materials, and presentations for meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure progress.
  • Data Management: Assist in collecting and organizing data for various reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and organize events, conferences, and workshops, including logistics, venue selection, and vendor management.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to support the CPO in making informed decisions.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Special Projects: Assist the CPO in ad hoc projects, presentations, and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced environment, fintech or payments industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks and deliverables.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft professional emails and documents.
  • Discretion and Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and quickly adjust priorities as needed.
  • Tech-Savviness: Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and communication tools.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
