Social Producer, Branded Social Content
Overtime is looking for a creative, driven producer/editor to join our Branded Content team. You’ll help make videos for our brand partners that feel natural on Overtime’s channels and give our audience a reason to watch.
Your main focus will be producing shoots, directing talent, and editing social videos. You’ll work across talent-led studio formats, explainers and debates, fan interviews and games, athlete and creator challenges, and brand activations and event recaps, with support and creative direction from the team.
We’re looking for someone with strong storytelling instincts who brings ideas to the table, takes pride in their work, and is eager to keep learning.
What You’ll Do
- Edit social videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, building strong hooks and pacing while finding the best stories, funniest moments, and strongest reactions in the footage.
- Produce shoots in the studio and on location, helping talent feel comfortable and getting the performances and spontaneous moments that make a video work.
- Prepare questions, creative beats, and shoot plans so you arrive ready to execute the concept and adapt when a better opportunity comes up.
- Develop and pitch creative concepts that fit Overtime’s voice and bring brand partners into the content in a natural, entertaining way.
- Capture content on iPhone as needed and collaborate with camera crews and other production support on larger shoots.
- Own your assigned shoots and edits, communicating progress, keeping files organized, and delivering work and revisions on schedule.
- Work with our Content Operations, Branded Content, and Social teams to understand campaign needs and make sure videos meet creative and brand requirements.
- Bring observations from the content you’re watching and making to help the team improve existing formats and try new ideas.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of professional experience in video or social content production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with examples of social videos you’ve edited.
- Experience producing shoots and directing talent, including giving clear direction, asking follow-up questions, and adjusting in the moment.
- Strong editorial judgment. You know what makes a good hook and what to cut to keep a video moving.
- Comfort shooting quality video on an iPhone.
- A strong understanding of social content and an interest in what makes Overtime’s voice and formats work.
- Drive and initiative. You come prepared, bring ideas and solutions, and follow through on what you take on.
- A willingness to learn. You’re open to feedback, apply it to your next cut or shoot, and actively work on developing your skills.
- Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail, even when balancing multiple assignments.
Camera experience is a strong plus, and we’re looking for someone interested in developing those skills.
Travel and occasional nights and weekends are required depending on the project slate.
Please include links to relevant work and a brief description of what you produced or edited on each project.
