The Director of Business Operations is a key member of the Overtime Boxing (OTX) team reporting to the GM of the business unit. This position is the nucleus of OTX operations on the business and collaborates closely with boxing operations.

OTX spotlights up and coming prospects, contenders, and champions through an innovative event series, live content, and 365 digital-first content across social channels. OTX will deliver boxing fans with the best stories inside and outside of the ring.
What You’ll Do
The Director of Business Operations is responsible for helping build the OTX property ensuring that all processes, systems, and personnel are operating effectively and efficiently.
This position will support the growth of the business through strategy, roadmap, process and high-level execution. The ideal candidate has excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as experience in business operations and strategic planning.
The role will report directly to the GM of OTX and be a critical role in determining the roadmap for OTX. This role will:
- Work cross functionally with all key internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and process including boxing operations, content, social, marketing, design, finance, legal, sales, events, and production
- Support day to day operations and decision making helping grow the business
- Develop project plans and timelines across key cross functional areas of OTX
- Support vision setting and timelines for scheduling and building OTX across key pillars
- Support select external relationship management including cascading information to media rights partners and brand partners either directly or through the key internal contacts
- Contribute to the management of the OTX budget alongside finance and the GM of OTX
- Collaborate with sales and content to ensure shared knowledge of sellable opportunities to help monetize the property
- Partner deeply with boxing operations on a day-to-day basis to ensure all information is cascaded to the appropriate parties internally and externally
Who You Are
OTX seeks a Director of Business Operations who is a highly motivated and proactive self-starter that is energized by building something new and differentiated.
An ideal candidate skill set includes:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a cross functional and fast-paced operating environment
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as experience in business operations and strategic planning
- Outstanding organizational skill with the ability to follow through and meet deadlines while balancing multiple projects and priorities
- Diligent prep before meetings and follow through after them
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Self-starter who solves problems before they bubble up and manages up and across effectively
- A love for detailed google documents and spreadsheets
- A comfort with ambiguity, breakneck pace, and a desire to build something different
Travel: 25%
Overtime expects the annual salary range for this position to be between $120k-$130k. Overtime also offers benefits and equity in the company.
