The Product Operations Manager will strategically enable the Product org to move faster, act bolder, and drive deeper customer impact by developing, empowering, and driving collaboration among autonomous teams to leverage proven practices in product management.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage processes through the product development lifecycle.

  • Design and enable teams to use best practices within product tools that facilitate the product development lifecycle (Including: Productboard, Gdrive, Confluence, Figma, Figjam, PostHog, Gitlab)

  • Define, document, and ensure consistent execution of product manager onboarding, product management and product development process

  • Build systems that bridge gaps between tools to keep teams focused on impactful, outcome-focused work.

  • Maintain a consistent channel of communication between Product, Engineering, Design, and Product Operations as well as across the organization to ensure alignment and visibility into the roadmap

  • Work to evolve the way we manage and use product data and tooling

  • Work in harmony with your Product Operations teammates focused on Voice of Customer, Go-to-Market, and Strategic Planning

  • Be a trusted partner to the Product Leadership team, acting as an advisor and as their product operations point of contact

  • Become a trusted partner to the Product and Engineering teams, rooting out misalignment and inefficiencies that get in the way of delivering value for our customers

  • Roll up your sleeves to identify, design, and implement new processes amongst product managers, product leadership, and key cross-functional partners

  • Be a driver of quarterly and bi-annual strategic roadmap planning for Product teams

  • Identify continuous learning and professional development opportunities for Product team members (e.g., professional training workshops, conferences)

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in product leadership and/or product management roles

  • 3+ years of people recruitment and management experience

  • Past experience project management, program management and/or product operations preferred

  • Expert in best practices in product management, product design and software development

  • Demonstrated success in company-wide alignment and change management for teams of 500+

  • Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional product teams to adopt frameworks that prioritize value to customers/users

  • Ability to partner with and align with stakeholders across the business such as marketing, Support, Sales and Customer Success

  • Experience in companies that employ modern product management & software development techniques

  • Ability to make decisions based on combined qualitative and quantitative data

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
