Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product to lead strategic product growth and design initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our products and solutions, while overseeing all aspects of product management, executing product initiatives, and nurturing the innovation at MX. The ideal candidate should have successful experience in full-cycle product management in both the Banking and FinTech space, product design, user experience, solutions design and ux/cx research. We are looking for extensive experience in mobile banking, personal financial management, and in building data driven end user experiences. We treat each team member as a founder. Job Duties

  • Drive product vision that delights the end-users from discovery through adoption.

  • Lead product execution to improve product-market fit in existing markets and expand into new markets.

  • Build trusted engagement with clients and advocate what is right for customers.

  • Design and execute product features to serve customers better and address their pain points using the JTBD methodology.

  • Be a strategic partner to manage the product ecosystem with the Engineering, Marketing, Client Experience, and Sales teams to strengthen existing growth and embrace the future.

  • Lead teams to define, design, and deliver products with deep collaboration with product development manager, designers, writers, software engineers, and marketing teams with a lean and iterative approach.

  • Champion the company objectives and product initiatives quarterly.

  • Establish team OKRs and metrics to keep team members accountable.

  • Inspire, develop and manage a successful team of product professionals and their careers.

  • Be a force of retaining MX’s culture by living MX values in your decisions, communications, and actions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product leadership experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

  • Proven ability to build successful mobile banking products.

  • Strong background in software engineering.

  • Strategic vision of FinTech market trends, technology changes, and how they will affect MX product direction.

  • Technical proficiency and fundamentals to discover technical challenges and come up with solutions for clients.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

  • Strong ability to both lead and provide strategic insight.

  • Obsession for creating world-class products to accelerate clients' experiences.

  • Expert-level knowledge of prioritizing complex problems.

  • Uncompromising commitment to live MX’s values.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently to . This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
