Job Purpose
MX is looking to add a Sr. Financial Analyst to our finance team. You will support the organization as a whole in ad-hoc analysis and audits, helping us ensure accuracy and integrity in all that we do.
What you’ll get to do…
Provide data-driven consultation to internal stakeholders using financial and operational modeling to answer complex questions
Work on a variety of cross-functional projects including compensation modeling, pricing analysis, ROI analysis, etc.
Become a data-champion for our corporate data structure, provide auditing, training, and mentoring in all things data to help ensure uniformity and integrity to our corporate data
Become a data-champion for our production data, and provide auditing, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for both internal and external stakeholders
Perform other ad-hoc analysis as assigned
You’ll do it using your…
3+ years of financial modeling, complex algorithms, formulas, and calculations
Bachelor's degree or similar in statistics, finance, science, technology, or math
Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverables
Expertise in complex modeling in Excel
Expertise coding in SQL VBA, R, and/or other languages is critical
Strong analytic acumen and a deep understanding of how relational tables interact
Enjoy working with data, inclusive of a keen attention to detail, data discrepancies, downstream dependencies, etc.
Expertise in presenting and PowerPoint
