The Open Finance Partnerships Manager will lead relationships and integrations across the financial services ecosystem, including financial institutions, credit unions, banks, fintechs, and data aggregators.

MX is a leader in modern financial data connectivity, advancing the industry toward safer and more reliable data access. This role is critical in driving relationship management with key stakeholders in MX’s data-sharing partnerships.

Job Duties

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships in the open finance ecosystem, engaging with executives, decision-makers, and influencers.

  • Oversee the integration process with new partners, ensuring performance metrics and contractual obligations are met.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at data-sharing partners through activities such as QBRs, on-site visits, and day-to-day communications.

  • Become a subject matter expert in modern financial connectivity and open finance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes for partners and MX.

  • Provide thought leadership in the open finance space, including expertise in API data sharing and compliance with Section 1033 of the Dodd-Frank Act.

  • Stay informed about partners’ business drivers, strategies, competitive positioning, and broader industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 2 + years in partnerships, business development, or related roles with demonstrated success in achieving deliverables over multiple years.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in business and finance settings, understanding industry-specific terminology.

  • Proficiency in planning and adapting: create a plan, execute it, and adjust as needed.

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and a strong grasp of MX’s values and products.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $97,000 to $116,250. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.

At MX, we seek to hire candidates who drive results and achieve successful outcomes. We utilize a hybrid work arrangement style, which may require both local and remote team members to be in the office when necessary, to kick off projects, hold cross team strategy meetings, or complete key deliverables. Remote team members will travel into the office four times per year, and MX covers travel expenses associated with this requirement.
