The Director, Revenue Operations plays a critical role in optimizing processes, systems, and strategies across MX’s revenue organization. This position drives operational excellence, ensures data-driven decision-making, and fosters cross-functional alignment to support company-wide growth objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and tactical expertise to enhance efficiency and scale within sales, marketing, and client-facing teams.

Job Duties

  • Set and execute strategic priorities for Revenue Operations to align with MX’s organizational goals.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Revenue Operations team, ensuring team members have development plans and necessary resources to deliver in a high performing culture.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Business Systems to align strategies and operational processes.

  • Own sales forecasting and pipeline management, integrating forecasts into financial projections in partnership with Finance.

  • Design, optimize, and manage sales territory alignment to maximize coverage and balance workloads.

  • Develop headcount and quota forecasts in collaboration with Deal Desk and Sales Leadership.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance metrics (KPIs), pipeline trends, and sales performance.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Intelligence teams to generate actionable insights and improve data accuracy.

  • Oversee the documentation and refinement of sales processes to ensure consistency and alignment across revenue teams.

  • Identify friction points, implement workflow improvements, and recommend resources to increase efficiency.

  • Manage quarterly and annual forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Lead the administration and optimization of the revenue tech stack (e.g., Salesforce) and manage vendor relationships.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance sales efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related fields in high-growth environments, including previous leadership and team development capabilities.

  • Demonstrated expertise with Salesforce CRM, data analytics, and revenue forecasting.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Hands-on experience optimizing sales processes and managing sales technologies.

  • Exceptional project management and change leadership skills.

  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., DOMO) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.

  • Track record of implementing scalable solutions in a high-growth organization.

  • Experience in fintech or SaaS industries, preferred.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $156,000 to $187,250. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.

At MX, we seek to hire candidates who drive results and achieve successful outcomes. We utilize a hybrid work arrangement style, which may require both local and remote team members to be in the office when necessary, to kick off projects, hold cross team strategy meetings, or complete key deliverables. Remote team members will travel into the office four times per year, and MX covers travel expenses associated with this requirement.
