We are looking for a Content Writer to help us build our content strategy and thought leadership stories in the financial services and fintech space. The ideal candidate is a creative wordsmith who loves writing and research. Someone who is able to think creatively as well as write technically. This person will produce clear, compelling and thought-provoking stories that educate our audience and meet business goals.

Job Duties

• Research and write about financial services and fintech

• Clearly and succinctly convey how MX solves industry challenges

• Create compelling long and short-form copy that converts but also educates our audiences

• Work closely with product marketing to turn-key messaging into captivating stories

• Work closely with demand generation to execute campaigns

• Work closely with PR and social to share stories and thought leadership

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, or advertising

• Fintech or financial services experience is a big plus

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work well across teams

• Technical and creative writing skills

• Strong communication skills

• Experience researching and finding compelling ways to tell stories

• Resourceful and quick ability to gather information needed to complete projects

Work Environment

At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onsite perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $71,000-$85,250. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
