About us:Mesh is on a mission to build the world’s most trusted business identity network on the internet. We make it quick and easy for companies in the e-commerce and marketplace space to onboard and verify their business sellers, buyers and suppliers. Our founding team is comprised of former Amazon and digital identity experts who have built several successful businesses in the past. This is an exciting opportunity to build out Mesh's marketing function from the ground up to support our mission.Reporting to the CRO, you will be responsible for the following goals:
  • Develop and amplify our brand narrative within our key target audiences
  • Develop and execute an effective lead generation program to support our revenue growth goals
Responsibilities:The ideal leader is an entrepreneurial marketing generalist with a deep understanding of brand, content, PR and effective B2B lead generation strategies that drive consistent and repeatable inbound lead generation. You will:
  • Develop, execute and maintain Mesh’s marketing plan to drive our new customer acquisition & revenue goals.
  • Develop engaging educational content to position Mesh as a thought leader in our core markets
  • Amplify Mesh’s brand narrative through PR and events to generate buzz and establish credibility
  • Develop Mesh’s core content pillars driving engagement across multiple channels (website, blogs, podcasts, social media, podcasts, partnerships, etc).
  • Amplify Mesh’s brand narrative through PR and events to generate buzz and establish credibility
  • Develop and execute effective lead generation campaigns across the buyer journey via multiple channels (e.g, social media, influencers, PR, events, paid advertising, CRM, etc.)
  • Own the full marketing stack and funnel KPIs, creating a data lead approach to testing and development of our product and marketing.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Mesh’s brand and act as the brand ambassador ensuring consistency across all touch points.
  • Manage new and existing contractors and partners to execute tactics to achieve our goals
RequirementsThe ideal candidate has a deep understanding of B2B marketing, is a fantastic writer and thrives in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving early stage organization. You have/are:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience. Ideally, with a focus on content, growth or product marketing.
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing B2B demand-generation strategies
  • Marketing experience in a Seed to Series A stage company
  • Strong preference for someone who has the passion and skills to write
  • Data driven and understand the importance of measuring your work.
  • Creative, scrappy, flexible and learning mindset. Things don’t always go as planned at start-ups:)
  • Experience working in a player coach capacity
  • Position is remote - however, San Diego or Austin is preferred
