About Taxually

Taxually is a leading tax technology company providing innovative compliance solutions for businesses worldwide. Our platform streamlines complex tax processes, helping companies navigate the complex landscape of global tax regulations while minimizing administrative burden.

As a rapidly growing fintech SaaS company, we are transforming the way businesses manage their tax compliance obligations.

About the Role

We're looking for a Notice Management Specialist to own tax notice intake, triage, and resolution across our US jurisdictions. You'll be the person clients count on to turn a stressful tax notice into a closed, well-documented case — and to spot the patterns that prevent the next one.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and intake notices from clients and tax authorities across mail, portals, and email.
  • Triage by deadline and risk, and track every case through to resolution.
  • Communicate directly with tax authorities to resolve notices, clarify issues, and follow up on open cases.
  • Dig into root causes — late filings, payment mismatches, registration issues, and more.
  • Prepare responses, coordinate submissions, and keep clients and colleagues in the loop.
  • Help us get better: spot recurring issues and drive fixes that reduce repeat notices.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years in tax operations, notice resolution, or compliance operations.
  • Sharp written communication and a genuine discipline for documentation.
  • A knack for juggling multiple deadlines without dropping the ball.
  • Hands-on experience with state/provincial tax portals and indirect tax concepts.
  • Direct exposure to Sales Tax, VAT, and/or GST — filings, notices, or authority correspondence.

What We Offer

  • Target compensation of $65,000–$80,000/year based on experience and location.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) matching program.
  • A remote/hybrid setup and a team that takes tax compliance seriously
