The Revenue Operations Team:

The Revenue Operations team at JWP Connatix plays a big role in our business growth and efficiency, ensuring that our sales, marketing, and customer success efforts are aligned to drive revenue. This team works cross-functionally to optimize processes, leverage data-driven insights, and develop scalable solutions that support the entire revenue lifecycle. As part of the Revenue Operations team, you will contribute to a high-impact area of the business, where data and strategy meet to drive performance and achieve company goals.

The Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in developing, testing, and deploying dashboard projects for Revenue Operations. This includes working closely with partners to understand data warehouse structures, ETL systems, and data stores, as well as utilizing a BI tool to build sophisticated workflows and visualizations. You will be responsible for creating new dashboards for various initiatives, managing user access within the BI environment, and providing detailed reporting.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Translate business ideas into actionable insights and answer questions through data visualization and storytelling using a BI tool.
  • Build interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help clients enhance their insight and improve decision-making processes.
  • Provide expertise on BI best practices, including evaluating and recommending third-party tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • Communicate project plans, status updates, and issues with project management.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure alignment on technical architecture.
  • Investigate and resolve complex data issues, such as data bugs that impact reporting accuracy.
  • Prepare documentation such as data flows, case studies, and detailed query logic for code changes.
  • Maintain security standards and internal controls for data reporting through administrative oversight.
  • Promote a self-service data culture by building user-friendly dashboards and teaching business users how to navigate and leverage them.
  • Implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of dashboards and data reports.
  • Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and completion status to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and maintain high availability of services.

Requirements for the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence software development with at least 3 years of BI experience (Server/Desktop).
  • Expertise in advanced BI capabilities, techniques, and standards to produce rich contextual dashboards and reports.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing best practices and their impact on analysis.
  • Ability to design wireframes and effectively tell stories through data visualization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with key internal customers and business representatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in the AdTech industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau Integration.
  • Tableau Data Analyst certification.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with database design and large data set management.
  • Knowledge of statistical models.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
