The Team:

The Revenue Operations team is responsible for enabling the overall productivity and effectiveness of the end-to-end revenue generating organization at JW Player including Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, Marketing, and Technical Services. Each team member develops close relationships with RevOps partners and external stakeholders to ensure the organization’s strategy and operational efficiency as JW Player continues to scale its world-class Sales organization.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Salesforce Business Analyst who can elicit, document, and analyze requirements related to business challenges. In this role, you will actively participate in the design, technical insight, and roll-out of solutions for our Sales, Marketing, and Partnership teams. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will:

  • Analyze information to derive key data, insights, and actionable recommendations for our ongoing success.
  • Elicit stakeholder requirements through effective discovery sessions, employing questionnaires, interviews, and gathering opinions and information.
  • Document stakeholder requirements on a ticket or project basis.
  • Design business requirements to guide the engineering team in implementing solutions.
  • Develop Salesforce dashboards and reports based on requested specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships, to ensure effective solution design and implementation.
  • Manage systems projects, including requirements gathering, documentation, and support in the execution and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)/Quality Assurance (QA) phases.

Requirements for the role:

  • Proven documentation skills, including the ability to collect, organize, and utilize business process mapping tools (e.g., Lucid Charts or Visio) for accurate note-taking and the development of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as Salesforce, Excel, Google Sheets, MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and familiarity with additional systems like Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., Pardot/HubSpot), Sales Engagement Systems (e.g., Outreach/SalesLoft), and Partner systems (e.g., Zift Solutions) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze needs, identify gaps, and understand existing processes to develop solution design documentation. Sharp problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in data management, enabling you to identify and understand business problems and make informed decisions using available information.
  • Project management experience, including requirements gathering, BRD documentation, and assisting in the execution and UAT/QA phases of solution implementation.
  • Ability to develop and maintain reporting and dashboards for sales and marketing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, computer science, or a related field), intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, and prior experience with Salesforce administration and system integration.
