Immuta is experiencing exceptional growth and has established ourselves as the leader in Data Access Automation in the Federal Market. We have an immediate need for a Vice President of our Public Sector Sales team who is looking for a rare opportunity to be part of a special team. As a Vice President of Sales at Immuta, you'll work with both our Public Sector business unit and our Go To Market Team (GTM) to bring exceptional sales experience to an impressively accomplished team. As a member of our Public Sector team reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will explore the new frontier of regulated data science in the Federal government. You will be at the forefront of engagement with our government customers and partners, gathering new insights from this important customer set and ensuring their success in some of the most challenging data sharing environments. Most importantly, you will work with our customers to define and solve their data governance problems using our one-of-a-kind data science solution.
YOUR ROLE
The Vice President of Public Sector Sales will lead all sales, business development, lead generation, channel recruitment and development, and incremental revenue within the Public Sector in order to maximize Immuta’s bookings, revenue, installed base, brand awareness and customer satisfaction. You will manage all sales related and business development activities within the Public Sector while also having individual sales responsibilities within the sector. You will have refined interpersonal and verbal communication skills, a genuine interest in our customers’ missions across DoD, the IC, Federal Civilian and SLED market spaces, and you will have a strong desire to help the Public Sector team build our brand, close business and successfully integrate Immuta. Your proven experience and track record is necessary to simply, accurately, and articulately lead all aspects of the business development and sales cycle from beginning to end. Experience selling software products to the Federal and State and Local government is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management, leadership, and oversight of Immuta’s Public Sector Sales team
  • Direct Sales and Opportunity Generation across many, varied pursuits in different stages of the BD lifecycle
  • Leverage previous experience and existing relationships to create and close sales opportunities for Immuta
  • Direct Business development / lead generation activities in order to ramp opportunity pipeline and exponentially grow Public Sector revenue
  • Partner with the Immuta Partners and Alliances team to manage Immuta resellers and partnerships in the Public Sector space
  • Collaborate with customers, partners and peers to build a great team culture that aligns to the long term goals of the company
  • Track and maintain leads, opportunity pipeline, contacts, and forecasting via company CRM, Salesforce.com
  • Participate in trade shows, lead generation events, alliances/associations, etc as well as company-sponsored marketing events
  • Coordinate with and leverage the Public Sector CTO and Solution Architect team in order to ensure appropriate technical support is engaged at the right time in order to maximize Immuta's business and build customer engagement
  • Work with minimal direction, set priorities that align with the overall company strategy, and maintain focus and commitment throughout the process and life cycle

WE VALUE

  • 8+ years of customer facing sales experience, ideally this experience is across the Public Sector / US Federal Government customer space but a component of major account experience is a plus
  • Successful experience working in both large and small/emerging company environments
  • Successful track record of introducing new product(s) into the IT market, executing business development, ramping pipeline, and closing meaningful business
  • Successful track record of presenting and positioning software offerings directly to end customers and via partner networks and reseller channels
  • Successful track record of partner recruitment, enablement and management
  • Strong data analysis skills, knowing what can / cannot be possible, and ability to visualize data in the best way possible
  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written, visual (presentations), and verbal
  • Comfortable presenting to executive management, highly technical engineers, and larger audiences
  • Multitasking, critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and able to see the “big picture” - because our entire team must meet our goals for Immuta to be successful
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to achieve Public Sector objectives
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a security clearance w/ polygraph is a plus
