Job Description
Icertis is seeking a technically proficient, customer-focused and self-motivated Senior Revenue Manger to join our growing Global Revenue Accounting team. This hands-on role is a key contributor to the interpretation and application of ASC 606, supporting the company’s continued growth and future IPO readiness
You will play a critical role in reviewing customer contracts, performing ASC 606 assessments, and supporting month-end close procedures. You will also help drive continuous improvement in revenue processes and systems, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and accuracy. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner closely with our global accounting teams as well as Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure revenue recognition is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings deep practical experience in analyzing complex SaaS contracts involving modifications, performance obligations (explicit and implied), material rights, and variable consideration. You should be adept at researching and applying ASC 606, delivering actionable guidance to cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
To be successful, you must demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining the highest level of service. Flexibility in working hours is essential to collaborate effectively with both domestic and international teams.
Preferred candidates will have experience in the Enterprise Software industry and a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition, Deal Structuring & SSP
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ASC 606 revenue recognition, particularly around complex SaaS arrangements, contract modifications, performance obligations, and variable consideration.
- Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, and Finance to evaluate non-standard deals, providing actionable revenue guidance and ensuring compliant contract structuring.
- Lead the development and ongoing validation of SSP methodologies, collaborating with Product and Services teams to assess pricing models and establish SSP for new offerings.
- Prepare and maintain audit-ready technical memos to document revenue and SSP conclusions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Close Support
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including Product, Services, Sales Operations, and FP&A—to ensure revenue implications are proactively considered in product launches, pricing strategies, and services delivery.
- Ensure all revenue recognition documentation and analyses are accurate, complete, and accessible to support the Revenue Accounting team’s month-end and quarter-end close responsibilities, while maintaining accountability for deal-level compliance.
IPO Readiness & Compliance
- Assist in implementing and refining scalable revenue recognition policies and internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and support IPO readiness.
- Provide support during external audits and quarterly reviews, preparing required revenue documentation and analysis.
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization
- Collaborate on automation and enhancement of revenue processes using systems such as Zuora, Salesforce (SFDC), and NetSuite.
- Develop scalable documentation standards, templates, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Analyse deal and revenue data to identify trends, risk areas, and opportunities for improvement.
Leadership & Enablement
- Support and mentor junior team members in areas such as contract review, ASC 606 application, and SSP modelling.
- Contribute to internal training and enablement efforts to educate Sales, Legal, and other stakeholders on revenue-related requirements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance; CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue recognition, revenue operations, or technical accounting.
- Strong expertise in ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP revenue recognition rules.
- Demonstrated experience in SSP analysis and working cross-functionally to assess new product/service pricing
- Prior experience in Enterprise Software or SaaS industry strongly preferred
- Experience with Zuora, Salesforce (SFDC), and NetSuite preferred
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Flexibility to work across time zones to support global teams
Salary range and description
Min $130,000 - Max $180,000 USD per year plus 10% bonus
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary and annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package.
