We offer the most integrations of any tool on Shopify (100+) and the ability to get setup fast, without the need for complex onboarding. Gorgias offers its users a unified platform to manage every aspect of their customer support on every channel.

We can automate 60% of a brand’s support so that agents can focus on high-value conversations and driving sales. Plus, we offer purpose-built marketing tools to help merchants convert more shoppers into customers, driving GMV.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Enterprise Sales Lead to spearhead our efforts in acquiring high-value merchants with $20M+ in GMV. Reporting directly to the CRO, you will lead a small team of 1-2 sales professionals, developing and executing strategies to secure new enterprise clients and position Gorgias as the premier choice for large-scale e-commerce businesses.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DTC sales in the SaaS industry, proven success with enterprise accounts, and the ability to lead a small, agile team to execute ambitious goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and Implement Closing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales plans aimed at closing high-GMV merchants, ensuring alignment with company revenue targets.

  • Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Manage and develop a small team of account executives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team acquisition goals.

  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership: Work closely with the CRO and executive team to refine acquisition strategies and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Engage Prospective Clients: Identify and engage potential enterprise clients, understanding their needs and effectively communicating the value of Gorgias’ solutions.

  • Drive Sales Processes: Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.

  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive strategies and optimal support for acquisition efforts.

  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to adapt acquisition strategies accordingly.

  • Report on Sales Metrics: Provide regular updates on acquisition progress, pipeline status, and key insights to the executive team.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Sales Professional: 5+ years in sales with a proven track record of success in acquiring enterprise-level clients within the SaaS industry. Ecomm experience is a plus.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring sales teams, with the ability to inspire and drive performance. This is your opportunity to step into a leadership role.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute effective acquisition strategies based on market analysis and business objectives. You’ll be working with BDRs to craft out outbound strategy.

  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing C-level executives.

  • Results-Oriented: A proactive approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding acquisition targets.

  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions.

  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
