Opportunity:
This is an exciting new opportunity at XR to join our team in the role of Management Accountant based in our Shared Service Center in Budapest. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning North America general ledger close activities, reconciliations and variance checks, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls, providing audit support, and contributing to standardization initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Post routine journals and prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare documentation and respond to audit requests under supervision (for junior-level tasks)
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Perform intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and fixed asset accounting
- Execute monthly close journals (including intercompany, FX, fixed assets)
- Validate payroll and other inputs into GL
- Perform variance checks and basic P&L commentary
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and variance analysis
- Support annual audit requests and issue resolution
- Prepare documentation for audits and respond to queries
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Manage responsibilities for the United States and Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA part-qualified a plus
- 1-3 years of accounting experience in SSC or audit
- Fluent English; experience with North America entities is a plus

- NetSuite preferred
- CashPro exposure
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls; support external audits
- Mentor Junior Accountants and provide peer review
