Opportunity:

This is an exciting new opportunity at XR to join our team in the role of Senior Management Accountant based in our Shared Service Center in Budapest. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering complex reconciliations and analyses, reviewing the work of juniors, and providing subject matter support in R2R activities, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls, providing audit support, and contributing to standardization initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own complex reconciliations, prepare variance analysis, review work of Juniors and MAs, support audit, handle intercompany and fixed asset accounting, escalate issues to Team Lead.
  • Own and deliver complex reconciliations and variance analyses
  • Review reconciliations and journals prepared by Juniors/MAs
  • Mentor and train Junior Accountants
  • Escalate complex issues to Team Leader
  • Prepare advanced audit schedules and liaise with auditors
  • Lead process improvement in initiatives in assigned areas
  • Manage responsibilities for the United States and Canada
  • 4–6 years in SSC/accounting
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA/ACCA progress a plus
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in SSC or audit
  • Fluent English; experience with North America entities is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong ERP and reconciliation tooling expertise
  • BlackLine
  • Excel advanced
  • NetSuite preferred
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and controls
