The VP, Global Product Strategy is responsible for planning, implementing and managing overall strategy for the Spotlight product portfolio. They will help shape XR product development, partnering Product Marketing on positioning and go to market strategy through examination of short term and long term business needs that are influencing XR’s ecosphere.

The hired candidate will be the bridge between XR and our clients. They will assess client needs and determine which products may experience the highest demands. With involvement in the product lifecycle from ideation to release they will make recommendations about product development and product development strategies, and help determine long and short term pricing strategies with the intention of increasing revenue through product sales.

The Candidate

A strategic thinker having strong business and technical acumen are key for this position. The hired candidate must be well-versed in current technology and understand the competitive landscape of XR’s Spotlight ecosystem.

Strong communication and presentation skills will help facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders as well as board members and/or investors.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Technology and other teams to ensure successful sales and marketing strategy execution based on product strategy
  • Conduct regular assessments of internal and external data to determine the success of XR’s product offerings and the ability to meet sales expectations and to set pricing strategies
  • Understand customer and market requirements, ability to translate them into product strategy with focus on user experience; Partner with development team to drive innovation and strategic thinking
  • Use customer and stakeholder feedback to make improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Monitor KPI’s to assess product performance; Present strategies and findings to the board and/or future investors
  • Assess strategies regularly with plans to pivot as needed based on market indications of changing client needs
  • Performs other projects or duties as assigned

*Pursuant to California's Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $193,000 - $221,000; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
