About the opportunity

We are now looking for an experienced Product Manager to help lead one of our squads to fulfill our ambitious Human Connection goals this year - To work side-by-side with our designers and engineers to deliver a market-leading product strategy that brings connectedness back into today’s workforce.

What you will do

  • Be customer-obsessed. Our users are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll spend hours a week speaking directly with both our customers and users to build empathy. You will need to have a deep understanding of their needs by looking at data as well as collaborating with Customer Success, Marketing and Sales to gather the right insights that inform your product roadmap. You will need to develop a wide understanding of our market, customer and user personas, how they all work together and their pain points.
  • Own and deliver on your roadmap. You will work closely with your other team members and the leadership to help define and realize your vision and strategic goals. You’re able to think both tactically and strategically through your team's needs, business opportunities and technical challenges when creating and executing your roadmap. You are constantly striving to strike the right balance of delivering on innovation, product performance and user needs.
  • Strive for excellence: Always refine and define what work should be owned by the team while collaborating closely with your stakeholders, and team members.
  • Be exceptionally pragmatic. A great product person is pragmatic. You’ll need to make the right tradeoffs to keep moving forward by balancing a variety of inputs; including analytics, qualitative research, and customer feedback from our go-to-market and support teams.
  • Be able to think big, but start small. At Enboarder we set bold and exciting goals for where we like to go. You will need to be able to align and develop a strategy for your team and get your teammates and internal stakeholders excited about how we can get there. This is balanced by your ability to sweat the details and push the product forward incrementally to deliver value, one day at a time.
  • Partner with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams. You are highly collaborative in your approach and work closely with your design and engineering team members. You need to ensure everyone is brought along the journey of product discovery, exploration and delivery, to support the daily decisions required to build great products at scale and then bring them successfully to market. You are constantly building customer empathy with your team to achieve the best end result.
  • Be accountable for product quality. You’re accountable for ensuring we always deliver world-class products and user experiences, by understanding our customers and users' needs and how they use our solution to bring value to their lives.

What you’ll need to succeed:

First and foremost, you will live the same values as us. Following closely behind that is a passion for what you do, and motivation to do great things in the employee experience and human connection space.

  • Strong product management experience. You have several years of experience owning a product roadmap and executing against it. You’ve experienced the ups and downs of shipping brand-new product features, learning from feedback and iterating on strategy.
  • Strong technical background. You have the technical background needed to understand and prioritise the needs of developers, not just customers. You have shaped the vision and strategy for a scaling platform. You have experience in making technical decisions with engineering leaders.
  • Stakeholder management. You have significant experience balancing the needs of the business and clearly articulating your decision-making process to other product managers, designers and engineers.
  • Clear communicator. We expect you to take big, ambitious ideas and distill them down into concise, exciting talking points. You have demonstrated the ability to get buy-in on your ideas, strategies, and plans across many teams and functions.
  • Pragmatism. We’re looking for someone who can wear multiple hats across the entire lifecycle of product exploration, development, launch and adoption. You have a proven track record of making tough tradeoffs and rallying a team through challenges in a positive and upbeat manner.
