Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner or Associate Product Manager to join our product team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about solving user problems and driving impactful product outcomes. You will play a key role in translating product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of product initiatives that align with business goals. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product leadership and stakeholders to gather and define product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Own and manage the product backlog; write clear user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize features based on value and impact.
  • Participate in team stand-ups, lead grooming and planning sessions, and participate in demos and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process.
  • Work closely with engineering (offshore), design, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
  • Effectively communicate release notes and support go-to-market planning in coordination with product marketing and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze product performance data and user feedback to inform ongoing improvements.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and context switch effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma, etc.).
  • Foundational technical knowledge and basic SQL skills are a plus, including the ability to understand system architecture, read technical documentation, and query databases to extract or analyze product-related data.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or a related role (must have previous experience)
  • Prior experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams preferred
  • Prior experience working in the logistics industry is preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally to meet with teams if required.
