Job Summary:

As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in extracting, analyzing, and presenting data to support informed decision-making and drive business growth. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced technical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments, contributing to the development of reports and dashboards that provide valuable business intelligence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and operational teams
• Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Utilize advanced data manipulation and visualization techniques to extract meaningful insights
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions or support strategic initiatives as requested by management
• Create visually engaging and informative data visualizations using tools modern tools like Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or other data visualization platforms
• Continuously seek opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and advanced query writing
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Firm understanding of Data Warehouses, ETL Processes, and the methodologies behind them
• Intermediate level skill working with Excel and Google Sheets
• 1+ years of professional experience in technical products, preferably with a background in Data Analytics
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage clear documentation
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, business, or another related field

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in the logistics/transportation industry
• Experience working with Sigma and Snowflake

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
