Team
As a Freelance Video & Social Project Manager at Raisin, you will be the driving force behind our social and video content operations – from planning and coordination to publishing, engagement, and performance analysis. You’ll manage the end-to-end production process for video formats across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, while ensuring consistent, data-driven growth of Raisin’s social presence.

A key part of your role will be to coordinate and manage video shoots with Raisin’s Thought Leaders in our Berlin studio – whether executed in-house or in collaboration with agencies. You will also take ownership of Raisin’s YouTube presence across multiple domains, ensuring content is not only published consistently but also optimized for platform-specific success and community engagement.

Beyond production, you will leverage Hootsuite and other analytics tools to schedule content, monitor brand conversations, and analyze performance. Based on insights, competitor watch, and emerging trends, you’ll proactively make recommendations for new formats, hooks, and strategies — interfacing closely with both organic and paid social initiatives.

You’ll be part of Raisin’s AI-First Content Creation Hub and bring a pragmatic, organized, and digitally fluent mindset to the team.
Your Responsibilities
Video Production Management
  • Plan and manage video shoots in Raisin’s Berlin studio, including scheduling, logistics, and creative preparation.
  • Coordinate with agencies or freelancers as needed for filming, directing, or editing.
  • Prepare speakers and stakeholders for shoots (e.g. briefing, timing, messaging alignment).
  • Ensure all video productions are aligned with Raisin’s brand tone, content strategy, and visual identity.

Video Publishing & Channel Ownership
  • Manage and grow Raisin’s YouTube channels across different domains (e.g. Raisin DE, Raisin UK).
  • Upload and optimize videos (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags) for discoverability and engagement.
  • Ensure publishing timelines are met and video assets are adapted to each platform’s needs (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Support video repurposing and short-form adaptations as needed.

Community Management & Social Listening
  • Monitor and moderate comments and DMs across YouTube, Reddit, and other social channels.
  • Use Hootsuite to manage publishing workflows, monitor conversations, and track brand mentions across channels.
  • Respond to user questions or feedback where appropriate and in Raisin’s voice.
  • Escalate sensitive or critical issues to internal stakeholders (e.g. CRM, Legal, Brand).

Performance Tracking, Analytics & Competitor Insights
  • Track and analyze engagement and viewership metrics using YouTube Studio, GA4, Looker, and Hootsuite analytics.
  • Provide bi-weekly performance updates with strategic input for improvement.
  • Conduct competitor monitoring and identify emerging platform trends.
  • Recommend format adjustments, hooks, and content opportunities based on insights, competitor watch, and best practices.
  • Interface with paid social teams to ensure learnings from organic content inform paid campaigns (and vice versa).

Editorial Planning & Coordination
  • Join content planning meetings to align video projects with campaigns and priorities.
  • Coordinate with MCCMs and the Social Project Lead to ensure video content supports wider content goals.
  • Ensure consistency across domains, formats, and publication schedules.
Your Profile
  • Strong project management skills, ideally in a content/video environment, with the ability to align multiple stakeholders across functions.
  • Hands-on experience planning or managing studio video shoots.
  • Knowledge of video formats and storytelling techniques for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Basic video editing skills using Adobe Premiere and/or Jitter.
  • Familiarity with AI-generated video tools (e.g. HeyGen, Veo) is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience using Hootsuite (or similar social media management platforms) to publish, schedule, and monitor content across channels, analyze performance, and manage social listening and engagement.
  • Confidence in handling sensitive interactions online, with sound judgment on when to engage, escalate, or de-escalate.
  • Ability to translate analytics and competitor insights into actionable recommendations for content optimization, community growth, and cross-channel strategy (organic and paid).
  • Proactive mindset — suggesting formats, hooks, and campaign ideas based on data, trends, and competitor activities.
  • Structured, self-organized, and comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Your Next Step (Even If You Don’t Tick Every Box)
We know our ideal candidate brings a broad set of skills in social media management. If you’re an experienced professional who is eager to grow further and refine one or two areas along the way, we’d still love to hear from you. The expected scope of work is approximately 20–25 hours per week.
