Sensor Tower’s digital intelligence platform provides unparalleled insight into market trends, advertising, competitor’s strategies, and consumer/user audience across mobile, web, and gaming. Sensor Tower’s insights are trusted by more than 2,500 enterprises worldwide across tech, retail/commerce, entertainment/media, gaming, consumer packaged goods, finance, and investment.

Sensor Tower is seeking a technically-minded builder to design, build, and operate our AI-powered compliance infrastructure. This is an individual contributor role—you won’t manage a team of direct reports, but you will own and build the systems that scale the compliance function across the company.

The majority of this role is building: designing automated detection systems, deploying agentic AI workflows, and translating policy requirements into logic that runs continuously without manual intervention. Ongoing program management is part of the job, but the expectation is that you’ll automate yourself out of repetitive tasks so you can keep building.

You’ll report directly to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and have significant autonomy to shape how Sensor Tower approaches compliance technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Build: AI-Driven Compliance Monitoring & Detection (~65–70% of role)

Design and deploy the automated systems that keep Sensor Tower ahead of risk.

  • Architect and build agentic tools that detect policy violations and anomalous behaviors across Sensor Tower’s data infrastructure and cloud environments.

  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into executable detection logic—through rules engines, LLM-based classifiers, or purpose-built integrations with internal systems.

  • Build automated reporting pipelines that surface compliance metrics, trend analysis, and incident alerts to relevant stakeholders.

  • Partner with Information Security and Engineering to embed monitoring into existing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Own the post-detection triage loop: investigate events, escalate issues, and feed findings back into detection improvements.

Maintain: Compliance Programs & Risk Management (~30–35% of role)

Oversee the programs you’ve automated—and identify the next ones to automate.

  • Own KYC/sanctions screening operations, including policy documentation and vendor integrations (e.g., LSEG Refinitiv World Check One) in collaboration with Sales Operations.

  • Administer the DDQ management platform (Conveyor): maintain the knowledge base and standardized response templates; handle escalations for complex questionnaires; report metrics to the CLCO.

  • Support SOC 2 compliance operations in Drata: maintain internal controls, prepare for audit periods, support external auditors, and manage the public Trust Center.

  • Manage Salesforce-based compliance queue workflows (data validation, DSAR requests, app takedown requests) and report on process health.

  • Support product and privacy reviews in partnership with Legal and Engineering; contribute to AI governance gap analysis with the AI Steering Committee.

  • Oversee the annual internal policy review cycle—coordinating approvals, deploying updates, and keeping the policy library current.

Technology Leadership:

Champion the tools that make the compliance function scale.

  • Lead evaluation and adoption of compliance technologies with a bias toward AI enablement; maintain a forward-looking roadmap for leadership.

  • Partner with People Operations to deploy SOC 2 and regulatory compliance training; develop bespoke training where needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical skills — these matter most:

  • Proficiency in Python (or similar scripting language); you’ve built tools, automations, or detection systems, not just used them.

  • Experience building or working with agentic AI systems, LLM-based workflows, or AI-powered automation.

  • Comfort working directly with APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data tooling.

  • Experience building automated monitoring or reporting pipelines.

Compliance context — enough to translate requirements into logic:

  • Familiarity with at least one compliance domain: privacy (GDPR, CCPA), KYC/AML, data governance, or SOC 2.

  • Experience translating regulatory or policy requirements into operational controls, automated workflows, or detection logic.

  • Prior exposure to compliance tooling (e.g., Drata, Conveyor) is a plus—not a requirement.

Everything else:

  • 3–6 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, information security, or a related technical field.

  • Strong written communication skills; able to translate technical compliance findings into clear guidance for executive audiences.

  • Builder’s mindset: you default to automation, flag manual processes as problems, and have opinions about how to fix them.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; compliance certifications (CCEP, CRCM) or technical certifications are a plus.

This is an individual contributor role. You will manage systems and projects, not direct reports.
