Sensor Tower is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to drive brand marketing and event initiatives for the Japan market. In this role, you will plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and partnerships that expand Sensor Tower’s presence across Japan’s mobile, PC, console, and digital ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with regional marketing, sales, and analytics teams across APAC and headquarters to generate leads, engage customers, and strengthen our local brand influence. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of the gaming and SaaS landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event & Campaign Execution -
- Research, plan, and execute local trade shows, conferences, and webinars to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Plan and manage customer events that drive engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities.
- Support relationship management with local SaaS partners and event organizers.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site coordination.
- Analyze event and campaign performance, track ROI, and provide insights to optimize future activities.
- Localization & Content Marketing -
- Localize reports, blogs, and go-to-market collateral to ensure cultural and linguistic alignment with Japanese audiences.
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to develop customer-facing materials such as case studies, success stories, and presentations.
- Work closely with the insights team to identify and deliver relevant regional data and narratives.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from our Kanda office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in gaming, mobile, SaaS, or agency environments.
- Proven experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns or events in Japan.
- Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills with international teams.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Passion for the gaming and mobile industry; familiarity with markets in China, Korea, India, or Southeast Asia is a plus.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business fluent (N1 or equivalent).
- English: Business reading/writing; HQ collaboration required.
- Chinese: Nice to have, especially helpful for engaging with China-based partners and publishers active in Japan.
