The Role
Amperity is looking for a Senior Analyst Relations (AR) Manager to shape how leading industry analysts understand our business, technology, and leadership. In this role, you'll manage analyst relationships and drive strategic initiatives to strengthen Amperity’s positioning in influential evaluations like Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, IDC’s MarketScapes and Forrester’s Wave.
You’ll work cross-functionally with product marketing, product, PR, sales, and executive teams to deliver compelling engagements that build long-term analyst advocacy. This is a hands-on role that blends strategic insight with high-quality execution.
This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact analyst programs that influence how Amperity is perceived across the enterprise software and customer data landscape.
Interesting Problems
- Manage Analyst Relationships
- Act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of top-tier analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Constellation Research).
- Own scheduling, logistics, and preparation for briefings, inquiries, and analyst-driven events.
Drive Analyst Engagement
- Deliver compelling, differentiated storylines through coordinated briefings, updates, and interactions.
- Align with internal teams to shape messaging and ensure analysts clearly understand Amperity’s strategy and product innovation.
Support Analyst Reports & Evaluations
- Lead the coordination of major analyst evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrant, Waves, MarketScapes).
- Manage RFI responses, customer references, and supporting materials.
- Track milestones, manage timelines, and collaborate across teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Influence & Inform Internal Teams
- Summarize analyst feedback, reports, and sentiment to share with product, sales, marketing, and leadership.
- Identify perception gaps and market trends that can inform messaging, product direction, and go-to-market strategy.
- Distill analyst perspectives into actionable insights that influence product strategy and positioning.
- Act as a bridge between external viewpoints and internal planning—translating analyst POVs into narratives that support Amperity’s differentiation.
Content & Materials Development
- Build briefing materials, talking points, and messaging frameworks for analyst interactions.
- Support executive and spokesperson prep to ensure consistent, compelling delivery.
Measurement & Reporting
- Track share of voice, analyst sentiment, and inclusion in key reports.
- Create dashboards and summaries to communicate AR program performance and impact.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in analyst relations, product marketing, corporate communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity working with leading analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, etc.).
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling messages.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence cross-functional teams, especially product and product marketing.
- Comfort extracting key themes from analyst feedback and aligning them with Amperity’s narrative.
- Passion for technology and an understanding of the customer data space—CDPs, martech, adtech, AI, or data platforms are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline.
Location
Seattle, WA or New York, NY
We have a hybrid work model for employees based in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY, with three days in the office days each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility
Compensation
Base Salary: $114,000-$160,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.
Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
